Carrowmore national monuments near Sligo. There is some information about Carrowmore from archeologists. Radiocarbon dates as early as 5400 B.C. have been associated with these tombs. This tomb was damaged by an automobile accident and reconstructed by archeologists. The stones from the circle surrounding the tomb were removed long ago. Next Carrowmore photo.
