Angel on Gravestone, Inishkeel Island, Donegal

Angel on Gravestone, Inishkeel Island (Inis Caoil). There is also a curious hole in the gravestone. Since the gravestone is from the eighteenth century, I wonder whether this was related to a fear of being buried alive.
