Ruined Cathedral at Ardfert

This is a ruined Cathedral in Ardfert, Kerry, Ireland. According to Heritage Ireland, This cathedral was built on the site of a Monastery founded by St. Brendan the Navigator. There is a story about Brendan sailing to America about 1500 years ago. Columbus had a copy of this story before he sailed to America a little more than 500 years ago.
